Clarkston Community Band
Clarkston
Community Band
Clarkston, Michigan
Making Music and friends since 1890

The Clarkston Community Band (CCB), founded in 1890, provides the opportunity
for amateur musicians to enjoy, once again, the pleasure of playing in a band.
The membership of the band represents a broad spectrum of backgrounds
including nurses, schoolteachers, engineers, housewives, students, and senior
citizens. The band has a strong sense of
community purpose and provides free musical entertainment at civic, charitable
and community events. The Clarkston
Band is organized under the Clarkston Community Schools Community Education
Program. It is an on-going adult education program open to all adult and high school
musicians . We rehearse weekly throughout the school year on Tuesday evenings
from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Sashabaw Middle School located at 5565 Pine Knob
Lane, Clarkston, MI 48346.
